Bucky, Inc. is a Seattle, WA based company founded in 1992 to design, manufacture and market comfy new pillows filled with natural buckwheat hulls. Our original U-shaped pillow set the standard in personal comfort and is a marvel of simplicity that quickly caught the attention of top retailers across the USA. Soon millions of people were bonding with their Buckys!
Since then, Bucky has expanded and evolved our product lines to include a full assortment of natural and essential health and travel products. Bucky strongly believes in 100% natural and sustainable products. Many of our products are filled with buckwheat seeds, buckwheat hulls or millet hulls. Although these fillings have been around for centuries in Asia and Europe, they were an imported specialty item found only in select natural-product stores until Bucky pioneered their manufacture and began making them widely available in the U.S.

Why Buckwheat Filling?
For centuries, natural pillow filling such as buckwheat hulls have been the secret to deep, restful, and ergonomically-correct sleep. At Bucky, we exclusively use millet and buckwheat for our pillows because we believe they are the best of all worlds! Adjust the fill level to find your ideal fullness, replace your pillow’s filling as needed unlike synthetic pillows that eventually become trash, and enjoy the benefits of pressure-relieving neck and shoulder support. All of our millet and buckwheat pillows are designed with the utmost comfort, durability, and versatility in mind.
At Bucky, we care about our environmental impact, which is another reason we choose to fill our pillows with millet and buckwheat over chemical alternatives that achieve a similar effect, like memory foam. All Bucky buckwheat and millet is hypoallergenic, and grown without the use of pesticides and fertilizers. Once you feel the comfort of a natural pillow for yourself, you’ll never go back!
Place in freezer for freshening
Do you need additional neck therapy? Place the entire Utopia or just the filling in the freezer; in order to freshen it up! Do not Microwave.
Take it on the go
The back of your Utopia has a handy Snap & Go feature to secure it to your luggage while on the move. These travel pillows are 13 x 12" in size, and can easily fit within a carry-on bag.
Easy Care
You can easily care for your Utopia by just unzipping the outside cover! Remove the cover and empty the liner before washing. Machine wash cold, and tumble dry low. To maintain your Bucky, please do not wash the filling.
